The Experience
Step 1 — Apply
Complete the short application form through Facebook, Instagram, or our website to be considered for one of our limited Royal Birthday Experiences.
Step 2 — Reservation
If selected, our team will contact you with full experience details and available session dates.
A non-refundable $150 Royal Reservation Retainer secures your booking and is fully applied toward your artwork purchase during your design appointment.
Step 3 — Your Royal Experience
Enjoy your luxury portrait session, glam experience, sparkling toast, fully guided posing, and cinematic same-day image reveal.
Step 4 — Select Your Artwork
Choose your favourite portraits and artwork collections during your design appointment.
Exclusive birthday collection offerings and flexible payment options may be available for qualifying purchases.
Artwork Investment
The Royal Birthday Experience includes:
• A complimentary luxury portrait session (regularly valued at $850)
• A $150 Birthday Artwork Credit
For a total studio contribution of $1,000 toward your experience.
Artwork collections for this experience begin at $850.
After your $150 Birthday Artwork Credit and $150 Royal Reservation Retainer are applied, collections begin at an additional investment of $550.
Most Royal Birthday Experience guests invest between $1,500–$4,000 on their final artwork and portrait collections depending on what they fall in love with during their design appointment.
Flexible payment options may also be available for qualifying purchases, with plans starting around $50/month.

Absolutely. Many guests choose to celebrate with a partner, best friend, mother, daughter, or loved one. We limit things to 1 guest - unless otherwise approved in advance!

Your session will take approximately two hours at our studio. This includes a 30-minute photo session, time for image processing, an art education segment, and your image selection process.

Your luxury portrait session is complimentary as part of this special birthday experience. Artwork and portrait collections are purchased separately.

The $150 Royal Reservation Retainer secures your session date and reserves dedicated time with our creative team and studio.
This retainer is non-refundable, however it is fully applied toward your artwork purchase during your design appointment — meaning it goes directly toward anything you choose to purchase from your portrait collection.

Because each Royal Birthday Experience reserves dedicated studio time with our team, the $150 Royal Reservation Retainer is non-refundable.
We understand that life happens, and whenever possible we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests with advance notice.
However, cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute reschedules may result in forfeiture of the retainer and/or experience offer.

• Sessions are subject to availability and are primarily offered on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experiences are non-transferable and hold no cash value.
• The $150 Royal Reservation Retainer is non-refundable, but is fully applied toward your artwork purchase during your design appointment.
• Artwork and portrait collections are purchased separately.

• If selected, your experience must be claimed within 72 hours or your invitation may be forfeited.
• Motif Fine Portraits reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Cancellations, no-shows, or repeated rescheduling requests may result in forfeiture of the retainer and/or experience offer.
• Promotional offers, artwork credits, and experience bonuses may not be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.
• By participating, guests acknowledge that artwork selections and purchases are custom in nature and therefore final sale once approved for production.
• Motif Fine Portraits reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation in cases involving abusive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour toward staff or the studio.
